This week we are spotlighting our Multilingual Learner Educator!
This week, we are Spotlighting Greg Flattich. Greg's classroom office space is located on the 4th room, 207A. Greg works at the Kennedy-Longfellow School in addition to working at C'Port. Greg supports our multilingual learners that receive ESL services. Our district is moving towards making language standards explicit, and Greg is a great resource to help us with this work.
"This will be my 4th year at Cambridgeport School and 13th as a public school educator. The focus of my class (also known as ESL) is to support students in learning social and academic language. We study academic vocabulary and develop skills for reading, writing, listening to, and speaking academic English. I live in Cambridge with my partner and two children. In my free time, you can find me bicycling, hiking, or practicing yoga or aikido."
