Here
are students working on a boat making woodworking project in Jr.K,
during our transportation theme. All of our students created their own
boat, sanded the parts and assembled it with gel glue that dries
plastic, and will allow the boats to actually float without coming
apart. Our boats are on display in the front hall. Then we can bring
them home to float at bath time. Our water table is presently
transformed into a turtle pond during our spring "Nature" science unit
exploring living and non-living things. We are also engaged in research
using many factual books about various types of turtles.
