This week, we are Spotlighting Amanda VanVleck. This is Amanda's 10th year as Cambridgeport School's Math Interventionist Support Specialist. Amanda's office is located in room 306 on the 5th floor. Amanda works closely with our teaching staff to support math Instruction. Amanda also works closely with our Math Coach and Literacy Interventionist Specialist. Amanda is part of our Child Study Team, where we are revamping how we support teachers to enhance Tier 1 instruction. Amanda has made herself available to support all teachers with Math instruction. Amanda is a proud member of our school team and enjoys thinking outside the box to enhance student experiences.

As a math interventionist, I partner with our math coach, classroom teachers, and students themselves to identify and offer supports that allow ALL students access to grade level math learning.
I provide this support in the classroom during daily math classes or in small groups at times outside of math to provide an extra opportunity for math engagement and explicit instruction when needed."
