Class placements and beginning-of-year C'Port forms will be sent on Friday, August 22nd. Class placements at Cambridgeport are the result of a thoughtful, team-based process that considers a wide range of factors, including academics, social maturity, gender balance, special education needs, and peer relationships. Our goal is to create well-balanced classes where every student can thrive and succeed.
Because these lists are carefully crafted, we’re unable to accommodate requests for changes. Even one adjustment can disrupt the balance for an entire grade. Rest assured, our experienced teachers are well-equipped to support all students.
We understand that transitions can be emotional. Your response to your child’s placement can strongly influence how they feel. If they’re disappointed, reassure them with confidence and help them focus on the positives—new friends, new opportunities, and a great year ahead. Parent/ Teacher Listening Sessions
- For the second consecutive year, we are offering listening sessions with you and your child's homeroom teacher before the start of school. Your child’s teacher will contact you to arrange a meeting at a mutually agreed-upon date, time, and location, which may be at your home, a park, or a library.
