"My name is Tracey DeLucia, and this is my twelfth year at Cambridgeport! I am an Early Literacy Interventionist (ELI) Teacher. I have been an educator with CPS since 2001. My role as the primary reading interventionist is to partner with classrooms and with small groups of students to give targeted instruction in reading and writing. I love the joy and the light in my student's eyes when that little spark happens, and the students begin to feel like superstar readers and writers. I live in Winchester with my husband Mike and our two children, Charlotte (18) and Ryan (15). We recently dropped my daughter off at St. Anselm College for her freshman year. My son Ryan keeps us very busy with his hockey and lacrosse schedules. I am responsible for meeting with K-2 teachers to discuss any reading/writing concerns about a student. From that discussion, I am responsible for taking a deeper look at the overall Reading/writing profile with various assessments and classroom observations."
