Friday,
September 21st was Park(ing) Day. Across the city, parking spaces were
turned into miniature parks. Cambridgeport Arts Committee was granted a
parking spot, and decorated it in pinwheels and other whimsical art. As
families arrived at school on foot, by bike and by scooter, they stopped
to admire the art, to lend a hand to the street art, and to appreciate
the public art created. We hope that it also inspired new families to
seek out a position on the Arts Committee!
