In an effort to foster a love of reading and build a community
of readers, we have two opportunities for families to donate books as
well as gain access to a wider range of books (without spending a
fortune)!
READcycle |
Book Exchange |
This is available year round. |
This will take place during the week before April vacation. |
This is a set of shelves near the Family Room on the first floor. |
Donations will be collected in boxes in classrooms. Information will be sent about collecting in February. |
Bring in a few books, take a few books. |
Time to clean the bookshelves! Bring in many books. |
Please keep books organized. There is a rough organization to the books, which is labeled on the shelves. |
Books will be cleaned and organized in library by librarian and volunteers. Contact Liz Soeiro, School Librarian or CPORT Parent, Whitney for more information on volunteering. |
We kindly ask that all donations are:
- Not yellowed or brittle books
- No broken spines or torn covers
- Not TOO much writing (dedications are okay)
- Age appropriate, K-5 (or appropriate “grown up” titles, READcycle only).
