Our children love to play outside on newly fallen snow. Snow brings a
new challenge to the playground… artistic, physical, you name it. We
love taking our kids outside to play in the snow. In order for them to
truly enjoy it, they need outdoor gear, though. Jackets, hats, and
gloves are a must in this winter weather! When snow has fallen recently,
boots and snow pants are also important. We do keep a small supply of
extras in the office, but you should plan on sending them in daily.
We
do try to get outside every day, regardless of the weather. The school
district wellness policy has us stay inside when it is below 10 degrees,
and shorten recess when it is between 10 and 15 degrees. Let it snow,
